DJ Paulette's - This Isht Rocks

I hope fuckwittery doesn’t rub off.  I have met so much of it today that it really beggars belief.   From someone wanting to do a radio interview with me to promote my birthday party at Queen but wanting to do this three days after the event, to the lovely Shu Uemura assistant at Bon Marché giving me completely the wrong product and my having to make two trips there and waste half a day just for the pleasure.  To realising my contact lens boxes are nearly empty but finding that every decent (not talking about Grand Optical or Optic 2000 here - i mean, really?) optician (read opthamalogue) in Paris seeming to be booked up for appointments until the end of February beginning of March??? to, to, to and then … breathe.

Do you know what I did?

I picked  up my keys, put my coat on, went out of the front door and stood outside for a few minutes.  Then I came back in.  It worked. Nothing had really changed that much. It all just seemed ridiculous and funny and didn’t really matter any more…
